Museum of Illusions Vienna

About

Visit the Museum of Illusions Vienna and explore 12 illusion rooms and interactive exhibits that test your perception. Defy gravity in the Upside Down Room, see your companions grow or shrink in the Ames Room, and test your balance in the Vortex Tunnel. Explore 3D-looking images, holograms, and optical illusions, and take photos and videos of your experience. Discover newer attractions, including a walkable kaleidoscope, glowing rotating discs, a color room, and the *Following Eyes* installation featuring Empress Elisabeth. You can also experience an installation inspired by Otto Wagner’s Majolikahaus, which creates a climbing illusion in photos. Interact with the exhibits, change your perspective, and learn how your brain interprets shapes, sizes, distances, light, colors, movement, and reflections.
